This multi-talented entertainer has graced the stage for many years. Dana Williams demonstrated remarkable talent from the tender age of 5. As a young girl she participated in a C.T.C. summer program for young actors which included a performance of “Sea Girl”. In high school (Los Gatos, CA) she took 3 years of drama instruction as well as performing in several school productions. In college (UNR) Dana was a Speech Communication major with a minor in Theater. She participated in several shows and acting workshops. As an adult she completed a John Robert Powers course in Television Acting (April-June, 2002, Hollywood, CA). Dana is not just any performer. Along with her extensive experience being in the spotlight, this up and coming superstar has developed in many areas of entertainment. A well instructed student of performance, Dana has had many years of dance, voice, piano & Martial Arts instruction over the years: 3 years of Ballet, 2 years of modern/jazz, 4 years of gymnastics, 11 years of piano, 4 years and a brown belt in Kuk Sul (a Korean form of Martial Arts), 4 years of vocal training in high school & 3 more years at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was a member of the University Women’s choir, performing solos and ensemble work. She also has been a member of many church choirs throughout her life. Having discovered more talents as time went on, Dana is working on her first R&B/Gospel album, which will consist of all original songs. Realizing that she has potential in areas other than music and theater, Dana has begun her modeling career with great success. Dana has also been recently cast in Somaya Reece's music video for "Ooh Baby Baby", which was filmed in January, 2008.
I am a wife and proud mother of four (believe it or not). I am very active in my church and love to sing constantly. I sing for masses at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson, CA. I also sing with the youth group band (contemporary Christian rock) and am a youth leader. I am an avid reader and love to learn. I enjoy playing volleyball, snowboarding, exercise in many forms, softball, and martial arts (brown belt). I also love to write. I have written poetry most of my life and poetry led to songwriting. I have also written an advice column for a fashion magazine (Form & Style) for its online issues. I love children, animals, music in all forms, movies, dancing, and just living life to the fullest.
My goal first and foremost is to share my music with the world. I have written many songs and I have a lot to say and music is a beautiful way to express it. I don't care about being famous. I would be happy if my songs were produced and recorded by another artist (as long as I get the royalties...)
Honestly I just want to do what I love (sing, act, perform) and make a decent living doing it. I don't need to be filthy rich I just want to provide for my family and if I do make large amounts of money I would use it for ministry. My ultimate dream is to have a variety show with music, spoken word, one-acts, comedy, etc, that tours the world, spreading Truth and God's message of love and unity to anyone who will listen. I would love to do musical theater again. I have done musical theater since I was 5 and it is possibly what I do best.
